万力研究员于2010年进入浙江大学生命科学研究院黄俊教授实验室攻读博士学位,期间主要利用细胞生物学手段研究DNA损伤修复的分子机制。随后,前往英国弗朗斯西克里克研究所,加入了Jesper Svejstrup(英国皇家科学学会和医学会院士)实验室从事博士后研究。在此期间,曾到剑桥大学Manu Hegde(英国皇家科学学会院士)实验室进行访问学习,主要从事天然免疫应答与蛋白质合成相关分子机制的研究。2022年10月,万力研究员在中国科学院广州生物医药与健康研究院成立了自己的研究团队。本团队采用了细胞生物学、分子生物学与生物化学、免疫学等学科的交叉渗透研究方式,并结合体外翻译技术、定量蛋白质组学、CRISPR介导的基因敲除、核糖体分析技术等创新手段,系统性研究天然免疫应答与蛋白质合成的分子机制。万力研究员先后主持了两个国家级项目,并主持或参与了多项省、市级重要科研项目,曾获得的浙江省自然科学一等奖和EMBO-Long Term Fellowship。
