该团队主要利用生物化学、结构生物学、现代分子和细胞生物学等相关的方法和手段去研究天然免疫发生的分子机制，并着眼于回答宿主是如何利用天然免疫系统来调控蛋白合过程从而抵御病毒的入侵，最终希望对病毒性疾病和其他免疫相关疾病的治疗提供新的靶点和思路。
